Hello everybody, I need your help. First look at the my laptops specification.

ASUS M60J (bought in Sweden)
Chipset: Intel PM55 rev.11
Bios: American Megatrends Inc(1.0)
Bios Version 210
4GB DDR3 1066MHz (2slot or maybe 4slot?)

I need to uppgrade my ram to 8GB but I don't know if my Motherboard support 8 GB ram or not?

I have found that both CPU-Z and EVEREST shows that this laptop has 4 slot for memory upgrading and I don't know if it's true or not? If it's true then maybe it's better to upgrade ram to 6GB(3*2GB).

Please look at the screen shots and tell me what I have to do?

Thank you :ange:

After researching I have found an OCZ memory kit (2*4GB)
1333MHz DDR3
CL 9-9-9-20
204 Pin DIMM

OCZ DDR3 PC3-10666 DDR3 SODIMM 4GB Edition(2*4GB)

If I can not upgrade to 8GB then what you think if I switch from 1066MHz(7.7.7.20) to 1333MHz(CL 9-9-9-24)?

Take the online scan at http://www.crucial.com to find what you have, what you can upgrade to and how much they'll charge you if you buy from them. You don't have to, of course.
