ASUS N550JV update offline? possible?

I want to update my laptop, it is running fine but it looks like I may be able to get more out of it with the bios updates etc etc. I have acquired a few programs which are very expensive and I do not want them to contact their host to upgrade So I am wondering if there is any way to put updates for drivers etc onto a usb thumb drive and then install onto the laptop while offline. I am a photographer and have only had the laptop online once when first bought to do an initial update, otherwise it stays offline and I happily do my work. ty guy and gals, cheers.?

go to the software support site, if they offer patch/upgrade download then yes, else it will required internet connection.

I went but I am not sure, I test downloaded it to my other computer and it says zip I open and inside is N550JVAS.208 and then type:file208. Really do not want to mess up my machine but if it can speed it up or help I need it.

what do you mean speed it up? if you don't have an issue, no reason to update the bios.
But if you still want to, there bios-utility that you need to download to install it.
