ASUS N551VW vs Lenovo Y700

Hi guys,
i'm gonna make it short

for Gaming and Engineering softwares purposes
which one?

Asus N551 VW (Multi-Media Series)
Intel Core i7 6700HQ - GTX 960M 4G GDDR5 - RAM 8G DDR4 - 4K - 1T 7200RPM + 128.SSD - 15 inch

Lenovo Y700 (Gaming Series)
Intel Core i7 6700HQ - GTX 960M 4G GDDR5 - RAM 8G DDR4 - FHD - 1T 5200RPM - 15 inch


Any other recommendation in this range of price would be also appreciated

As it is between those two- definitely the ASUS primarily because of its SSD as well as it's faster 1TB hard drive (7200RPM vs the Lenovo's 1T 5200RPM)....The 4 k is also a plus...

What is your max budget though, if you state, I probably can find something even better for you..

yeah u are right, obviously asus N551VW got better hard drive.
but the thing is the Y700 is "Gaming" Series whereas the N551VW is "multi-media" Series
N551VW category got me worried and made me thinking maybe Y700 is better choice due to being categorized as "Gaming Laptop"
btw both of which have same price tag (in my country)

another problem would be Asus 4K display, since u cant really play games at 4K then having it down to Full HD as some discussions suggest, it would get blurry if u play FHD on 4K display !!! is it a real problem !?!!

my "max budget" would be around asus N551VW worth (i cant state my budget here due to the face that my currency is not dollar)
