Hi everyone,
I can not really figure out if something is wrong with my laptop or not. After some performance issues while playing Company of Heroes 1 (2006 RTS game) and Mafia II I decided to take a look at the temperatures.
Both CPU and GPU came close to 100 degrees. Because of the throtteling back fps went down dramatically.
I decided to repaste my GPU and CPU, I have used a random paste that was available at the local computer store, nothing special.
Now during gaming (Mafia II and COH1 locked on 40fps) I get:
CPU 84 degrees
GPU 74 degrees
Today I noticed while watching a simple youtube video:
CPU 70 degrees
GPU 56 degrees
Idle things seem normal to me:
CPU and GPU around 50 degrees.
I am not an expert but I tried to get familiar with it during the past days. To me the CPU temperature seems still a bit high, how ever stable as fps is not dropping.
I hope someone can give me feedback on my issue
Thanks a lot!
Kind regards,
Max
