Asus notebook (model: x551mav-hcl1201e) stuck on the reboot and select proper boot device

My laptop is stuck on the black screen that says reboot and select proper boot device screen. I have tried to turn it off and then on again. It is password protected and entering the password is the first screen I see before the black screen saying reboot...... It has no battery that slides out of the bottom, like my last one, so I can't even try removing it. Thank you in advance, for any advice you might have. I have read other posts about an HDD being loose, do you know how I might access that to see if it is just loose? Thanks again.

Is there a USB drive or CD/DVD in the system? If yes, remove them and try again. To find out how to get to the hard drive, do a web search for a service manual for your model, or just do a web search for your model and "remove hard drive" with it.
