Looking for a new laptop for home use. Nothing too intense although my husband does have some old need for speed games he likes. We would like to spend around $500. I'm open to upgrading RAM or swapping to a SSD. Just want to get the best for my money.
This is what I think we want. I5 processor. 4 gb RAM that I can upgrade. A 2 in 1 would be nice or maybe just a touchscreen? Right now we have an 8 year old Toshiba satellite that's still going but has some trouble occasionally. Also we feel like it should have a DVD drive since we do have disks around to use. Seems like laptops are getting away from that now though.
I'm open to other suggestions as well. I just feel like Asus and Toshiba are pretty reliable and get good reviews.
