asus powerskin please do not close

i have reset my laptop back to factory conditions i have done all windows 7 updates now when i turn it on it pops up top left corner of my screen saying
powerskin please do not close
and it wount let me close it

It's easy to stop but I don't see any information about what it actually is. Does not seem like a virus and if it's an official ASUS utility there is no info about it.

Click on Start > Run type in msconfig hit enter.

In the Startup tab find the powerskin entry and uncheck it.
