i recently bought this laptop a month back. it auto shutdown when the battery was flat, and since i was out, i could only on and charge it back at home.I tried uninstalling the driver and restarting the laptop after that but the same problem still occur. My keys which could not work is m,n,b, space, enter, left alt, left ctrl, left shift, u, y, i, o, p and some keys on the numpad.

Hi,

For a month old laptop those symptoms are not common. First for your keyboard, you may want to try to uninstall/reinstall the keyboard driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Keyboard driver.
- Reboot your laptop once the driver has been uninstalled then test it again after the reboot.
- If it doesn't work, open Onscreen keyboard then see if those keys will work or not.
- If it does work you may want to reinstall Windows itself.
- And if after the factory reset will not work as well that means it's the keyboard that is faulty
- I would contact ASUS for a repair for the keyboard replacement together with the battery or charging problem.
