Hello everyone,
I would appreciate any help or thoughts.

I have an Asus ROG gaming laptop a g752vt model.
4 years old.
Great machine first time in 4 years its giving me problems.
Battery has been dead for months just been using it on AC power with its power adapter.
19.5 V
Suddenly one morning when I plugged it in the switch lit up.
Its supposed to light up only AFTER I press the button.
Screen remains black.
I did HDMI it out to external monitor and that remained black too with "no signal" warning.
However if I hold button down for a few seconds its light turns off and on again and I can hear the drives resetting.
That seems normal.
Fans dont turn on.
I can hear the drives spin up though.
It has one SSD and one Platter.
LEDies on dash lights up as I plug it in as it should to show its plugged in and even the caps lock LED is lit.
I can also hook up an external hard drive to the machine via USB 2 / 3 and the drive's light comes on indicating that its getting power from laptop.
As it should.
So power seems to flow through machine.

I did the hard boot 20 second hold button down when unplugged.
Didn't work.
I did remove the power board and the jack cleaned it tested them with multimeter seems fine.

I am thinking dead GPU or motherboard issue what do you guys think? :)

TY
