Labtop will turn on fans run will show starting windows then goes black. This is after a restart as it was updating a driver.

It sounds like the driver may have been a bad choice, is the driver update you got, was it from the manufacturer website? If it wasn't or was, neither or I'd restart the PC in safe mode and see if it loads up and works.

-> Safe Mode
