Question ASUS Tablet won't go past start screen

i have an ASUS Tablet with 8.1 OS

When I turn it on, it asks for my PW. I input PW, press ENTER and then it sits there and spins.

So I activated F8 and got into TROUBLE SHOOTING. Tried RESET etc. Says cannot perform function because an ADMINISTRATOR account had not logged into the tablet and those actions required administrator permission.

My question is ... what else can I do to get past the START screen? It won't boot up into SAFE MODE. And I also get an error stating the "Windows Explorer is not working"

The only other thing I can think of is to make my user account an administrator, but not sure if that would work.

Any suggestions of things to try to make this happen?

It's doubtful you'd get away with changing your status but your problem is the same as someone who is trying to get past a password for all the wrong intentions, we can't assist with this one.

For that reason alone, I'm closing this thread.

Take it to a PC Fixer and show proof of ownership, they can help better than we can.

I have an ASUS tablet and it won't completely logon. It continues to spin at the WELCOME SCREEN. It is stuck on the welcome screen. I can put my password in, but that's as far as I can get.

Does anyone have a possible solution to fixing this?

It's running 8.1 at the moment.
