Asus Transformer T100TA-H2-GR will not turn on.

My Asus Transformer T100TA-H2-GR will not turn on.

Plugged in or unplugged, it will not turn on. When plugged in, however, the white light is on indicating a full charge. On one occasion, when I attempted to turn the unit on, while plugged in, I could hear the machine turning on, whizzing and whirring away- but the screen would not come on. This was a random occurrence and did not repeat itself. Following that, it went right back to just not turning on at all.

I should note, this is not a unit that had been dropped, and I haven't mixed up my chargers, so it's only been used with the one out of the box.

Any ideas?

HI, I also have a TB, and I'm experiencing this same problem. Last time I did a hard reset and it turned on. But after shutting down it isn't coming up again.....

ANy ideias? Thanks

This worked for me also. Thanks you very much. I thought the battery or the screen had died as I also tried doing other things before. Pressing the power key for over 45 sec and then lifting my finger and turning it on the usual way did the job.
