Hello,
My asus N50v laptop is not allowing me to log on. it keeps opening to a windows boot manager screen with the following error:
0xc00000e9
i have tried to restore with no luck, tried everything does any1 else have any information about this?
I think it has something to do with my HDD

Hello rossa28;

You may need a boot manger repair.
Try Hiren's BootCD: http://www.hirensbootcd.org/
You can download the .iso image and burn it to a CD.

Boot the CD and you'll have the tools to repair a bootloader, test the HDD and rescue important personal files and data.
