Whenever i take my laptop out to school or to the clinic where i intern at, the laptop would greet me with an Aptio setup utility screen and i am unable to get out of it. Then i leave it alone for a while and i tried shaking it a bit thinking theres something loose inside and when i turned it on it went back to the regular windows 10 log in screen.

So is there a problem with my HDD (like it being loose) or is there more damage to it? If this laptop is done for then i do have an external hard drive ready to back up everything and just transfer it to a smaller laptop like this one (just for school and case reports) http://www.lazada.com.ph/dell-inspiron-11-3162-116-intel-celeron-n3050-2gb-windows-10red-with-free-dell-laptop-sleeve-3998142.html

Hi there GCPT45,

As you think that there is something wrong with the drive, you should really back up the data stored on it ASAP.
After that, you can just test it: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility

Another thing you can do is to open it up(back panel of the laptop) and make sure the drive is properly attached. Make sure that this would not void the warranty. Also, there are some tutorials on the internet that will help you do that.

Let me know how this goes,
