Asus UX51VZ scrolling/mouse pad problem

Hi,
I have a relatively new Asus UX51VZ laptop. In fact, about 2 months after buying the asus, it stopped working so now I have a new one on warranty, and I had the same scrolling problem with both.

After roughly 24 hours, sometimes 2 days of not shutting my computer down the scrolling feature of the mouse pad stops working, without fail every single time. By stops working I mean no longer can 2 fingers be moved up and down the pad to take over the function of a mouse wheel.
The only thing that fixes the problem is a restart/shut down.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so how to fix it?

if they sendt you a new pc before on same problem, keep doing it, after a while they must give you the money back, then get the latest laptop because its last years parts inside it.

I should have explained that. They gave me a new laptop for a different problem. I hardly think it's due to an actual software or hardware malfunction, although it's difficult to think of anything else that could be causing it.

Anyone else experienced the same problem?
