Asus vivobook x541ua notebook laptop

Setting up new laptop and cannot enter @ symbol. in upper case only enters quotation symbol. What do I do? Thank you everyone.

Did you try using either the Shift key with that key or the Alt key with it? Also did you try turning on numlock?
