We have tested the adapter and its ok including the port inside the unit. We try removing the battery but still it wont charge. Sometimes on several attempts in plugging in and out the book and on different outlets with several positions and the cord not disturbed, it charges. When it works and when its low on power again I have to shut it down because If it is still working it wont charge. We tested the port where the battery was plugged to the motherboard and it is fine.
Which do you think is faulty the motherboard? the adapter? the port?or the battery?
Please help. Thanks.
I would suggest to try another AC adapter first just to really identify where the problem is. If you said you've already test the AC adapter and it's okay do you mean you used a multi tester to check the voltage if it's supplying enough voltage to charge or power the laptop? I would go for try another AC adapter first it will save you time and money. If it will not work while using another AC adapter it's safe to say that it's the motherboard of the laptop that is faulty.
