ASUS X550J Laptop can't connect to internet

Yesterday I was able to connect to the internet on a public network just fine but I am unable to today. The internet on the public network is working because I'm connected with both my phone and PlayStation. Not only that, but it is unable to connect to the internet via mobile hotspot. To clarify, I am able to connect to both networks but unable to get internet.

I'm on an ASUS X550J running Windows 10 with a Realtek 8821AE Wireless card.

I don't have Norton installed and I've deleted McAfee apps that were pre-installed. I've already disabled and re-enabled the wireless card and made sure all drivers are up to date. I've disabled and re-enabled firewalls. I don't know what else to do.

Are you sure the wireless card is actually still working? Does it work anywhere?

I think it's still working. The computer wouldn't be able to search for any networks if the wireless card was broken, would it?

If it is not working correctly, yes it actually could. I would try uninstalling the card and reinstalling it, including its drivers.
