Hello folks,

Please help by replying in this thread whether my ASUS X555LF laptop is overheating or it is okay? In fact, I feel that I never experienced such high temperature compared to the past, although I used it for more than 2 years so far. As per CPUID Hardware monitor, it shows 66-70 degree Celsius while working with my laptop. Is it normal or it is quite concerning? HDD temp is 31-33, GPU (Built-in) temp is 58-65 and GPU (External) temp is 54-58 degree Celsius.

N.B. The complete log is attached below:

66-70 degrees Celsius is pretty hot (but not insanse) for a laptop. And if it is overheating it will shutdown at a certain temperature to protect the components. So if it hasn’t done that yet it’s not overheating. Also I would recommend checking to see if there is dust build up around vents/components as it will eliminate a lot of vital airflow.

Thanks for your suggestion. I already cleaned inside the laptop by reassembling all the components with no significant result. Anyway, how can I reduce less heat? Any recommendation like using extra cooling pad or using any application?
