Well, all I can say is. . . duh. . . why would ATT sell a device for which it cannot sell it's bread and butter. . . data services. Seems reasonable to me.

Nothing to see here folks. . move along.

Why would anybody want to buy an iPad? If I wanted to have a way to surf the net and check my e-mail on a large screen that I can leave on the coffee table or take with me on the train where I convert my lightweight web browser to an e-reader so I can read my favorite books, and then share my favorite photos with people when I get to work, I'm sure I would be better off with some other device or combination of devices not made by Apple. Plus I'd no doubt have a usb drive that I could drool over.

Well, actually they do. The article says they are planning on selling the 3G capable models.

I doubt Best Buy will have it at launch either. Just took a look at next week's ad and there is no mention of the iPad.
