As long as you don't crank your video settings (in games) to max, it will do okay. Running with "medium" settings should be fine.

What games and what system are you considering?

This is true in the majority of cases. Hence, the question to look at the make/model in question to offer better "gaming" alternatives for the money. Regardless, the suggested system will play games (for the most part) well at lower graphics settings.
