Hello!

My TV doesn't support Atmos or anything like TrueHD. Whenever a play a file in this format it won't play it and it just says "unsupported format.

If I buy a box tv like Fire Stick 4k or Roku and play a MKV movie file with Atmos, TrueHD, or DTS-HD... Will it work?

Of course, I know I'm not gonna get Atmos quality sound but will I at least get sound even if it's on a "lesser" audio quality format (the MKV besides has trueHD, ac3 files).

Thanks for your help

If you're not able to connect Atmos with your TV then , check to see if your device is set to PCM mode. If it is, change it to Auto, or Bitstream because Atmos is not compatible with PCM.
