ATT Go Phone with an unlocked phone?

And use the phone with ATT's pay as you go Go Phone option. I plan on buying the 1000 Mssg pack every month and using Wifi as my internet source.

All you should need is a SIM card, and it should work if it's unlocked.

Don't buy a SIM card from Amazon, there's no point in it. Go to a mall, find an AT&T store/booth and buy a SIM card.

Also remember that if you're putting a smart phone on a pay as you go plan, you should either opt for a small amount of data to allow for automatic updates, or to disable data via the mobile network. This would stop you from being charged unexpectedly for something updating in the background, like Facebook, etc.
