Hi guys,

I'm going to buy a new laptop HP Envy 15 J138TX soon, overall its a great laptop, but just reading some bad comments about the TouchPad. A lot of people mentioned its horrible & really bad & probably the only bad thing in the laptop.

Do you agree or disagree? Please share your personal experience if you've owned an HP Envy 15.

And if the Touchpad is really bad, should I skip this laptop & consider something else?

Thanks.

Actually most people are complaining that while typing they accidently touch the touchpad frequently & that's annoying. But I personally don't feel it should be a problem bcoz while you're typing you've some space between the 2 hands & that's the space where touchpad is located.

What does your experience say for this issue? Any complaint you've?

I've owned an HP G6 Pavilion for 3 years & I've to admit the performance was amazing and touchpad was perfect.

Ignore SYX. He is a fanboy and just started a thread where the only thing that it said was "Nvidia sucks AMD rules"

I have never noticed anything like that before. The way I type though my hands are resting on either side of the touchpad though. Mine is also not very sensitive in the top corners so it does not really register even if I do accidentally touch there.

OK. By the way, I'm a website designer, so will be using a lot of Photoshop and other stuff includes browsing, Skype chats etc. So I'm not going to do stuff like Article writing or web programming, where you've to use a lot of keyboard, where sensitive touchpad might be hazardous. And I do remember the sensitive touchpad FEELING, when I bought this current laptop 3 years ago, which only lasted for couple of days & now I feel its a wonderful touchpad.
