I recently reinstalled windows and put Autocad 2004 back on there but it asks for an authorization code. It did not when I installed from disk. Just to be clear I am not asking for the codes, I just need an explanation.
some industries don't accept anything other than actual AutoCAD content. honestly, if you're using this for PERSONAL use, i'd look at alternatives. if you're using this for PROFESSIONAL use, simply pay the current annual subscription for genuine Autodesk software. you're charging your clients for the work, and more and more are requesting to have drawings submitted in the most recent form (or possibly no more than 4 years old).
This was all ready installed on some Dells that were going to be scrapped. The install on one system was screwed up so I didn't have the registration form.
I am going to upgrade from this version due to compatibility issues so thanks for your answers.
