For folks like myself, in PERU, can't a thief just put a new Movistar chip in my Claro cell phone and that would be that? I'm obviously NOT tech savvy, but it would seem to me that many of the security features are almost immediately undermined, so to speak, when the phone has a new chip in it.
Can someone quickly clarify for me?
Things like geofencing seems WONDERFUL here in South America (I travel country to country and drink way too much coffee in coffeehouses, and sit for long periods of time--so I LIKE the idea of Avast.)
Anyway, I'm just confused!!! (Oh, I have a Lenovo A606, if that helps, and utilize Claro, both here in Peru and in Chile--and in Argentina and Uruguay in the near future.)

Okay. I finally found answers to my questions--on the Avast website, actually. 'Seems as though Avast has thought of many things, and I downloaded it and will use it here in Peru--as well as Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, etc.
