Hey guys,
So i'm using avast antivirus and i had the audacity to try the secure line vpn.
Now that the trial of it is done, i don't want to purchase it.
How do i stop it from sending popups telling me to get a subscription?
This is annoying as hell.
Thanks in advance for all your help.

The reviews i read said that avast was the best one, and i've been using it for years.
Does CIS eat up less resources? Why is it better?
I'm open to any idea.

It has better zero-day detection, built-in sandbox environment, and cloud scan (which I think you need to enable it manually) and I have seen review comparison where it has a higher detection rate than other antivirus product. However, the setting does require someone with a tech level to setup.

I haven't use CIS for a while. I have switched to Bitdefender, but the memory resource sits around 20MB and cpu usage is random.

Thanks polke, i'll look into it.
In the meantime, it seems nobody has a solution for my popup problem.
Thanks for taking the time though.
I'll keep the thread open for a while just in case someone has an idea.

Like I said, uninstall it. If you have to uninstall the whole program to get that part out fine, just reinstall it afterwards with only the parts you want.

That's the way you meant it.. oh.
Yes i considered that option but i was wondering if there's a way to avoid it, to not have to set it up again, but it seems that's what i'm gonna have to do.
Thank you.
