My laptop is 64 bit but a program that I have to download pictures from my camra will only down load on 32 bit. what can I do to change this to down load the pics

which program? there should be a 64 bit version.

also, i don't think this'll work but try running it in xp compatibility mode. (right click on installer, properties, compatibility tab, check off 'run this prgm in compatibility mode')

A lot of installers won't let you install their 32 bit versions if they have a 64 bit version.
i think notepad++ is an example of this.

and yes, this should be moved.

edit: nope, nvm notepad++ only has one installer. must be another prgm i'm thinking of.

i agree with mousemonkey. only 16 bit programs do not work without emulation. There may be some cases where you need a Driver to be 64 bit for things to work properly. either way what does this have to do with Bansaw????? A camera should be detected automatically by the OS, shouldnt even need a drver or particular software.
