Battery dead or Not?

Starting yesterday my battery stopped charging past 90 then I was told to try calibrating so I did and now it's stuck a 0. It looks like it's charging but it's not. The battery light is orange but changes to green for a second. I contacted Asus to see what was the issue and they were no help just tried getting me to send in my laptop or factory resetting it. Both those options I refuse to do. My battery can be easily pooped out and back in so why wouldn't I choose to do it myself. Im.just trying to see if for sure I need a new battery or not.

How old is the laptop?
