Battery fell out of laptop, having no luck with it. help please :/

Hi, I have a samsung series 5 notebook laptop, last night (while running from the battery only) the battery came out and the machine turned off. When I try to power it on, there is no spinning of the hard drive, the machine displays all LED's and the samsung logo on the screen, and has a series of fast beeps( about 15 beeps in a row) I can get on to the BIOS, but nothing is detected in the boot list. I took it to currys, they ran a diagnostic test via USB pen, which found that the CPU, RAM, motherboard and screen were fine. What could be the problem?

It seems the HDD - as you sad no spinning ....
Do you have POST ?
Any massages when trying to load OS ?
Do you see HDD in bios ?
Are you have drive check in the BIOS ?

Hi, no error messages at all, just the samsung boot screen, then a blank screen(still back-lit) the hard drive is not picked up at all either.

Nikolay Savov said "It seems the HDD" and i think so.

If you have a desktop PC, try to connect the laptop's HDD to it, in order to check it is failure.
