Battery not detected after replacing screen??

I was replacing my screen on my acer 4830tg earlier (old screen had cracked) and didn't remove the battery when doing so. After I was done, I turned my laptop on and everything was fine except it says the battery isn't detected anymore. Now the laptop won't turn on anymore unless I'm charging. Anyone know what went wrong?

Probably blew the fuse on the power board that sits in between the battery and the power circuit.
