If I plug in my adapter windows says it is charging, with the charging animation and all. But after a few seconds it stops with the animation, and it is not charging.
My laptop is a toshiba satellite L850-16T.
I used a program called batterymon, and the battery info says this:

The full charge capacity is fine, so I am not sure if buying a new one would help.
I should say aswell that this all started after some breakdown with my laptop, it just shut down with the adapter in it and everything. The adapter kept shutting down every time I connected it to my laptop, so that would've meant it was shorting somewhere in the motherboard. But after a few days not doing anything with my laptop, I tried starting it and it just worked. That's when the battery problem started.
I looked everywhere on google and I could not really find anything about the breakdown and/or the battery problem.
