Battery or AC power when I am at home?

I have a question as title says,what is better option for my battery life?
laptop model Acer aspire E5-571G
-To be more specific should I remove battery from laptop and play games on AC power without battery or it doesnt matter

AC. Running it on battery power adds extra cycles.

Whether or not you should remove the battery is a bit more debatable - it won't overcharge it, but heat isn't great for them.
