battery will not work with my laptop

replaced the battery in my toshiba satellite L775d will not work at all pluged in or not i have to remove battery to use laptop i have tried 4 new batteries

Are these OEM batteries, or off-brand ones?

Might have better luck with an OEM battery direct from Toshiba. Off-brand batteries sometimes have problems being recognized and working correctly, even when the specs all match.
