Been sing units similar to this wandering around SIGGRAPH for years. They are odd to interact with and not very instinctive to use. You glance around more than you think you do. And you can't hot an elevator button with them.

Wouldn't a small motor on the camera be pretty easy to add? Would let you look around pretty easily.
