Best $150 Headphones?

Hi guys,
I have been using the Hyperx cloud 1 for a while now and My unit seems to be getting old as I am getting a bit of crackling and my friends are complaining about the mic quality.

So, I am looking for a new set of headphones (Over ear) to replace the Hyperx.

I have a 7.1 Xonar sound card and I will be using it mainly for gaming and listening to music. Obviously I need a mic as well.

If these come separate, not a problem as long as it doesn't need to stand on a desk (the mic).

Also, this may be a bit too much to ask, but wireless ability would be amazing. Something like the new Logitech Artemis headsets where you can plug them in or make them wireless.

Im looking for the highest quality audio I can get along with the most comfort as the Hyperx makes my head hurt after a while... Don't know why...

How about the HyperX Cloud 2, It's fairly new and pretty decent as well.
I really wouldn't recommend a wireless headset as it can cause interference and charging them can be slightly painful.

I did consider the hyperx cloud 2 but it seems the only real improvement is the 7.1 sound card which I already have...

The wireless feature isn't essential.

I was looking at the ATH-M50's but I am wondering if it is worth the extra money? are they much better than my current headset?
