best affordable laptop for gaming

Hello all. I am new to the gaming world, more of a voyeur than player, but I love games like Alice and browser MMORPGs. (Wartunes not WoW) I am looking for a loptop that has the ability to play games like Alice and be able to do other stuff (like stream Pandora) if I choose. Multitasking for me is a must for I have A.D.O.S..(Attention Defecit Oooo Shiny). I was advised that I would need either a quad 4 or an I5, at least 4 gigs RAM and Windows 7. That being said, which is the best?

What the budget?

the cheapest that i know is around 600$ with amd APU in it,
to get better it will requied a dedicated gpu and the price will go up around 800$ or more...

ok so I did some research and I cant find Lenovos easily....where are they sold (yes I'm being a little lazy now) and secondly...Have you ever used Linux and if so do you like it? I detest Win8...refuse to get it. Win7 or Linux...please help!!!!
