Best Free antivirus software for gaming and web browsing

so after months of using free trials for AV i finally need a suggestion on a good av, I would prefer it to be free but if need to pay to get a decent one than so be it.

Any free antivirus is fine really such as AVAST or AVG. The best "software" is common sense really.

I use Microsoft Security Essentials, and Malwarebytes. Has worked well for years...

I think AVG free offers almost all specs of a paid antivirus software. Except firewall, but it still scans and removes viruses. You can also go on a 30 day trial of full version then continue using free version.
