Best gaming headset for my needs

So I need a headset but it has to have the following things. I am looking at the plantronnics gamecom 780 so I might want something like that. Here is what it needs to be
-Under$150
-Good mic quality
-WORKS WITH BOTH PC AND PS3 (most important)
-needs to have dolby surroind sounf

the gamecom 780 is an excellent model for its price. it just shot up to $75 recently though, which is nuts cause you used to be able to to get them for under $50. if you want crossplatform, the Tactic 3D Omega is a solid headset. they're a little less than your max, and work with pc / consoles and have a decent wireless range (40+ ft in a house with multiple concrete walls).

pretty sure it supports dolby surround and THX tru studio too.
