Hey guys,

So, Christmas is coming up and I'm in the market for a new gaming PC. I'm looking for a gaming laptop (preferably with a gtx 770m) that I can play Black Ops 2, Battlefield 4, (maybe) Crysis 3 (not expecting to max it out), Minecraft, Assassin's Creed 4, and Call of Duty Ghosts on. If you guys find a prebuilt desktop for the same price range that would be great too but it should have at least a 760ti inside.

Thanks in advance,

Colin

I've been considering that for days. The only holdoff for me is the 760 (can you vouch for it?) and the fact that I will have to buy a 1080p monitor also. Any cheap but quality reccomendations?

EDIT: I have also been considering a Alienware X51 with:

Intel Haswell i5
GTX 760ti (2GB of GDDR5 Vram)
8GB of 1600MHz of Ram
1TB 7,200 RPM Drive W/ 64MB of Cache
The Option of Windows 7/8

I only have a 570 myself so I can't vouch for it but this system looks really good if you just want a premade one. Personally I'd just wait til I had more money, getting a 500w power supply and a 1tb disk drive in 2013 isn't something I would do.

I bought an alienware laptop a few years back and it was the biggest waste of money in my entire life

The X51 is $1200 (same as the Asus) with the same specs just in a smaller form factor and a GTX 760ti vs GTX 760

I've heard terrible things about the x51 but I don't want to get into that I know people love their alienware, I used to as well. But it looks like it has a worse processor than the asus.
