I'm looking for any deals you can find that can beat or match:
i5 450m
ATI 5730m 1 GB ddr3
4 GB ram
320 GB HD
Intel CPU Needed
15"
$540 > 588.50 total w/ shipping + tax

I need the laptop to be 15" or less and have comparable specs(better is preferred) also refurbished is an option.

Intel CPU's Only and a 6550 is roughly equal in performance to a 6650 so they are roughly equal but the victory going to the i5 in raw power. :??: Does no one have an Idea?

Can we ask why? Even in the mobile market, having an Intel CPU will bump the price of the laptop when you're looking for equal performance. Your price range is too small to be that specific. Your graphics performance takes a nosedive when you exchange the AMD CPU (which is just as good) for an Intel.

So I have the best deal then. A i5 @ 2.4 w/ 5730 4gb ram and 320 7.2k hd. I think that since gaming needs a powerful dual core rather than a subpar quad core that is why I'm choosing an intel machine.

Thanks but 610m and 6470m are both under powered graphics I really need something that can play games easily. 5730m is powerful enough to play crysis 2 and other games medium-low setting but a 6470m just doesn't have the power.

HP dv6zqe $595

AMD Quad-Core A6-3430MX Accelerated Processor (2.4GHz/1.7GHz, 4MB L2 Cache)
1GB AMD Radeon(TM) HD 7690M GDDR5 Discrete Graphics

When Radeon Mobility HD 7690M GDDR5 Discrete Graphics is combined in dual graphics with the HD 6620G on the APU, you get Radeon HD 6775G2. Nice boost in some gaming -- some games run better out of dual graphics.

Beat up pretty good on a 5730m
