i also would be going some gaming on that as well as rendering and multitasking.

Dell Inspirion dell inspiron i7559 (BASE MODEL) (FROM AMAZON WAREHOUSE)

Acer Aspire V15 Nitro (REFURBISHED)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EB7F2U0/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2XSSCQFLOJLJ4

Lenovo Y700 (AMD MODEL)
https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Y700-FX-8800P-Windows-80NY002RUS/dp/B01FJFNE8A/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1475602297&sr=8-10&keywords=lenovo+y

I would get the Dell Inspiron i7559 you linked to even though it is $780 which is above your budget. It is a pretty good price for a quad core i5 CPU, GTX 960m and a 256GB SSD.

Most complaints that I read was the the mouse was merely "average", but you should read through the reviews. Not a big downside for me 'cause I always use a mouse with a laptop. Though I also read that some people thought the keyboard flexes too much or felt mushy. Lastly the screen is not a good as the one on the Dell XPS 15. Then again that is a much more expensive premium laptop while the Dell Inspiron i7559 is more of a value oriented gaming laptop.

Modern games like CSGO, Dark Souls 3, The Crew, Tomb raider, etc...
on medium to high graphics.
Also need it for rendering video clips and entertainment like watching movies.
