Best Laptop for around $600

Hi guys... I was thinking of getting a new laptop but couldn't decide the best model. It would be for all-purposes in my home for all family members.
The main things that concern me are :

* 1080p Display

* Core i5 or i7

* Should not be too thick

* Should have dedicated graphics (for mid gaming)

So if anyone could point me in the right direction I'd be very thankful

The Asus has the newer i5-6200u CPU, but it is not much more powerful than the older i5-5200u. It also comes with a DVD drive. Most people prefer Asus over Acer because they feel that Acer has lower build quality than Asus.
