Best laptop for handicaps

my brother is in a nursing home and we want to get him a laptop but there is concern it will get stolen we thought maybe chaining it to his tabletop would work. any other ideas?

Hmmm, well where I work they have these security type chain things that hook up to the laptop and wrap around a table so they cant be taken away without taking the whole table. I dont know what what thats called. Call up a store or something.

Get a laptop that is compatible with a Kensington Lock, most if not all are. Then buy a Kensington Lock.

You may also want to look into getting tracking software for the laptop just in case the Kensington Lock has been broken / severed. Lojack is an example:

If your brother has limited dexterity with his hands, then you may want to install Dragon speech recognition software so that he can issue verbal commands (assuming he can talk) to the laptop.
