Best MacBook Air storage solutions?

Hi there,
I am thinking about buying a 256gb 13 inch MacBook Air but realized that 256gb is nowhere near big enough for the amount of space I will be needing, what are the best solutions for additional storage? I would like to keep away from cloud storage because I don't like paying monthly bills, I would prefer to just pay once. Are there any wireless hard drives that will work well? Or is my best bet just getting an additional 128gb usb flash drive. I definately want to keep it wireless, no wired solutions please

Your only option is a wireless hard drive or NAS system. Performance will be abysmal compared to a wired connection, but that's life.

There are solutions like the Nifty MiniDrive. They sit flush with the MacBook, and use a microSD card that can go up to 128GB. You would probably forget it's there.
