Best Smart Phone for ~£150

Guys can I have some suggestions for any decent smartphones for £150ish?

I'm looking at the S4 mini, how does that compare with the S4?

S4 Mini is a nice phone, though nowhere close compared to S4.

If you're zeroing on the S4 mini, and want to compare it with S4 (useless comparison though), here it is:

S4 Mini is the best value for money in its segment. Samsung's other phones are nowhere close, Sony is nowhere close. HTC is just too expensive. Nokia, its all about Windows.

You forgot about the moto G

Moto G is good but better than S4 mini only in terms of Resolution and Screen Size.

Quad Core 1.2 GHz vs Dual Core 1.7 GHz are more or less equal in output.

Plus better camera, more RAM, 4G and S4 takes the edge.

S4 Mini - how is it in terms of overall stability, etc.? I'm looking to get a phone that's going to last around 1.5 years

It should last. I had a gs3 and it is still going after 2 years

I'm very happy with my G. It's often faster than the S4 Mini because it doesn't have the TouchWiz interface, which, well, can slow the phone down quite a bit. It's also important to note the Galaxy S4 Mini is in the £200-segment, the Moto G in the £150.

S4 Mini is well balanced phone. You see, it gives qHD screen with 8 MP FHD Recording cam, compared to HD screen of Moto G but 5 MP @720p. Its a Dual Core 1.7 GHz, a good and powerful processor with Adreno 305 graphics, same as Moto G(it got 1.2 GHz Quad). One of the best advantages is 4G, which you will really miss in Moto G.

Its a nice phone. Moto G is very much value for money, but if you can afford S4 Mini, go for it.
