I would like to be able to play PC games and emulated games (NES through Wii) on my TV. There are a number of ways to do this, some involve streaming and some don't. Currently, I am looking into NVIDIA Gamestream on the NVIDIA Shield TV. I would simply stream my gaming content from my powerful desktop PC to the Shield.
However, there are varying reports on just how acceptable the input lag can be. Some say it is negligible, and some say it is unacceptable. I like to play all sorts of games from sorts of genres, and input lag is a big deal to me.
So what do you guys think - what are some solutions that you all have tried?
