They are pretty much the same... the 2314 might be slightly better for gaming... What is your budget? Neither of those laptops are "good" for gaming.

Just checked your links... the link to the 2314 says permanently discontinued, and the 2301 is out of stock.

Scroll down a bit and you will see a bunch of games listed that show the FPS the GPU in those laptops get... you want to look at results from the 1366x768 resolution. Most games seem to be in the 15-40 fps range depending on settings. In other words you can play a fair amount of games but none will really run well unless you change the graphic settings to medium/low.
