Solved! Better Roku? Same Price?

Hi. It is black friday and im looking to buy a roku for my old 900p monitor. It does not have a native HDMI output but i have an adapter for it so its fine. My question is, which roku should I go with?

I don't think I should go with the even more lower end ones because one of my friends has a lower end one it is nearly unusable due to lag and delays.

The best roku like thing is an intel compute stick or mini atom based pc since it can do a lot more than the roku and will last way longer. Out of the 2 the first one is the better one.

Those are hundreds of dollars, I'm kinda on a budget. I am using a 900p monitor after all that I don't really use.

The first gen compute stick is atm on sale for 70$ or less in quite a few places (whilst there is stock).
