Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 250 Ohm with Asus Xonar Phoebus Solo?

Im looking into buying the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 250 Ohms but I'm not sure if my Soundcard can handle the 250 Ohm version, I own a Asus Xonar Phoebus Solo.

well...if you are worried about the amp part..Phoebus solo should be strong enough even for 600 Ohm according to ASUS website....but...that soundcard is designed for e.g. 5.1 headphone and not for stereo headphone.
With DT770, you will not use that surround outputs. It will work...just it is a bit of a waste of the soundcard, if you use only stereo.

actually, if you are using mainly stereo, you should have chosen better Essence STX 2 without the 5.1/7.1 expansion.

I currently use a Sennheiser HD 558, so I guess thats a waste already aswell ^^
